Cialis

Cialis (tadalafil) is one of three most popular anti-impotence agents known to provider for up to 36 hours of efficiency. This means that once you have taken this medicine you can attempt having sex any time within this period, although it’s best to have sex right after Cialis become effective. Older people tend to be more susceptible to the effects of Cialis and may require a lower dose they will benefit from. Although Cialis is considered to be very safe, there are some side effects associated with it. The following mild side effects are possible: back pain, headache, stomach upset, nasal stuffiness, flushing, pain in arms or legs, dizziness, vision changes, and muscle pain. Only a very small number of patients report the side effects mentioned, and these symptoms usually go away on their own. There is no need to report them to your health care provider. However, there is a possibility you may experience some more serious side effects, such as blurred vision, chest pain, ringing in ears, loss of hearing, erection that lasts longer than 4 hours, hives, changes in color vision, rash, and dizziness. Stop taking Cialis and talk to your health care provider as soon as possible if you get any of the side effects mentioned. Some people may be more likely to develop the serious side effects listed above because of a number of individual risk factors. For instance, people with a history of priapism are more likely to develop the same condition again (priapism is a prolonged erection lasting for over 4 hours and usually painful). If you have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, smoke regularly or are older than 50, the risk of developing sudden vision loss is also higher. You need to discuss all your risk factors with your doctor before starting to take Cialis. Also tell your health care provider if you have fibrosis/scarring, blood system cancers, eye problems, active stomach ulcers, recent stroke, coronary artery disease, bleeding disorders, liver disease, penis angulation, history of painful/prolonged erection, Peyronie's disease, kidney disease, or sickle cell anemia, as these medical conditions can affect the dose your doctor will prescribe. Do not start using any other medications while on Cialis because of drug interactions possible. Call your doctor if you think your treatment is not going as planned and you are not benefitting from it as much as you could.
